![]() Once again I had to uninstall the Cyberduck on the Macbook. All attempts to view the new folder via Cyberduck on the Macbook failed. The folder was created but the timestamp for the folder was marked as "Unknown". So, guessing there "might" be a problem with the folder on the remote server, I created a new folder on the remote server using Cyberduck on the iMac. Upon looking on the remote server using the other computer, all the files that were added in the last couple hours via the iMac had "Unknown" time stamp appearing when the file was uploaded. The Cyberduck on the Macbook could upload files to the remote server but it would not display the newly added files in its program window. Today we "hit the wall" as the saying goes. During this time, the Cyberduck I have installed on the iMac is working nicely. On 4 occasions I've had to dump the program and re-install it on the Macbook. We've been dealing with this for about a month now. By late afternoon, the Cyberduck is slow again and the Macbook has to reboot. Usually after lunch, we get back to work and the whole scenario repeats itself. While that only takes a brief amount of time, its inconvenient when several windows and programs are running. Usually the best result is reboot the Macbook. ![]() It performs a little better upon restart, but not much. Only solution is to shut the cyberduck down and restart. I can rule out my internet connection becasue while the Macbook is slow ftp'ing, using the other computer (iMac) its normal. And, it slows up the ability to do other work on the computer as well. What usually takes only seconds to upload, now takes 50-60 secs. After turning on the computer in the morning, Cyberduck works for a couple hours then it starts to bog down. We edit a lot of files and photos and upload them to the web each day, 100's per day. ![]() The main issue is Cyberduck on the Macbook. I downloaded onto each computer separately and installed Cyberduck Version 2.8.4 (3470) that I picked up via Cyberduck.ch. I have an iMac (desktopo) and a Macbook (laptop), Leopard 10.5.2. ![]()
